The ring is made for an exhibition in NYC (ExquisiteNorth). The ring itself resembles a bejewelled leghold trap, and the hollow pearl is stuffed with mink-fur.  Both a comment to how we treat animals, and how we frame assaults, and coate it in beauty. You see what you dare to see.
